Instructor's Bio

Stephanie Pettersen - From the age of 14 Stephanie has loved and dedicated her life to sport. Winning 4 World Bodyboarding Titles, she was known to be one of the most fit girls on the tour. If Stephanie wasn't surfing Pipeline she would be cycling around the North Shore of Oahu - Hawaii or if back in her home land Brazil, she would be riding up to the Jesus Christ Statue in Rio de Janeiro, along with her close friend, 2008 Brazilian Road Cycling Champion, Tatiana Van.

After fracturing her neck whilst competing in 96, Stephanie was on a mission to find a high quality exercise regime that would deeply build her body up without traumas and more injuries. After taking Yoga since 1992, she knows finding Pilates 5 years a go was the first step towards that perfect regime, and Stephanie feels even closer now as she began a new concept based on "Functional Training" from Paul's Chek Training System. The idea is to take the best from both concepts and deliver the highest training she can offer.
